As we continue to develop and progress the club forward, we are focused on providing an aspirational pathway committed to developing players on and off the field while creating an environment that will enhance and connect the soccer community.
We pledge to run Inter Atlanta FC with a sense of community and a commitment to give back to the game and assist with its growth at all levels.
We strive to assemble the best staff and the finest coaches, we are committed to their long-term development through continuing education, professional improvement, and club involvement.
When players join the club, they begin in our pathway developing over time. We are focused on the long-term holistic development of each individual player and believe in developing people with outstanding character. Players receive the most benefit and development by fully committing to each training session, game, and event each season and then each year as they progress through our player pathway. By using the game of soccer as the teacher, we will maximize each person’s potential and create a pathway for them to be successful in all facets of life.
Beginning back in the 2022-2023 club year, Inter Atlanta added an exciting new program level to the club that focuses on the highest level of competition.
Our Advanced Development Program has 1 team per age group for 13U - 19U girls and boys, totaling six girls teams and six boys teams.
Requiring the highest level of commitment for players and families, this program is designed to prepare players to compete at the highest levels and prepare them for the next level (Professional or College Soccer) by creating a high-quality training and competition environment. Highlights of our ADP level include:
Our Select program offers great quality, outstanding value and a highly comprehensive player development environment for boys and girls, ages 13-19 with multiple teams in each age group/gender.
We will continue to be focused on developing players in a team setting and preparing them for ADP and/or College Soccer.
To align the Club’s team structure from Academy through Select, we will be creating consistent team naming starting with the 2022-2023 club year, as follows:
Some age groups/genders will have the full 6 teams while other age groups/genders may be made of fewer teams, all dependent on tryouts each year ensuring we are assembling developmentally appropriate teams. A few highlights of the Select Program include:
Our Academy program is designed to create an atmosphere and environment in training and competition where players are challenged to be creative and solve problems.
At these critical age groups, we prioritize individual player development with tactical standards beginning to be implemented at these young ages. The development of technically superior soccer players is at the forefront of our player development focus.
As players reach 11U and 12U, we focus on preparing them for our Select and ADP programs and their movement from 9v9 to 11v11. To align the Club’s team structure from Academy through Select, we will be creating consistent team naming starting with the 2022-2023 club year, as follows:
A few highlights of the Academy Program include:
Our Recreation Program is a critically important part of our pathway, offering an opportunity for youth players (ages U4 to U19) to play soccer in an introductory, fun playing environment of all skill levels.
Our Recreation program is coached by parent and community volunteers setup to maximize each child's time touching the ball and playing the game.
As players participate in our Recreation program, if they desire a more competitive program, we will work those families to transition into our Academy Program and/or Select Program. A few highlights of the Academy Program include:
